**Job title:**
Associate Value Engineer (AI for Supply Chain) – Orbit Program
**Role Summary:**
Accelerate a career in enterprise software by joining a 12‑month Immersion & Mentorship program. As a Value Engineer, you partner with customers to diagnose business challenges, prototype AI‑driven Process Intelligence solutions, and demonstrate tangible ROI. You’ll blend technical development (SQL, PQL, Celonis platform) with consultative selling and stakeholder management, acting as the bridge between product and client value creation.
**Expectations:**
- Complete onboarding and training to become proficient in Celonis Process Intelligence and AI capabilities.
- Lead end‑to‑end proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes within customer environments.
- Build and sustain relationships with senior executives, influencing strategic decisions.
- Contribute reusable best‑practice collateral to the Global Value Engineering Center of Excellence.
- Deliver measurable impact reports that translate technical solutions into business value.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct systems and process analysis with customers to uncover pain points and business opportunities.
- Design, develop, and iterate AI prototypes using SQL, PQL, machine‑learning or LLM techniques on the Celonis platform.
- Present solution concepts, value propositions, and ROI narratives to C‑suite stakeholders.
- Manage proof‑of‑concept projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
- Collaborate with Implementation Services, Product, and Engineering to align solution design and product roadmap.
- Capture and document lessons learned; produce reusable frameworks, storyboards, and sales enablement materials.
- Monitor and report on customer adoption, satisfaction, and realized business gains.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in SQL (and experience with database design).
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, creative problem‑solving, and storytelling abilities.
- Excellent verbal & written communication in English; confidence presenting to senior audiences.
- Customer‑centric mindset with ability to build trust and influence decisions.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and adaptable to fast‑changing environments.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and maintain high organizational discipline.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- 1–3 years of relevant internship or full‑time experience in analytics, data engineering, or customer‑focused tech roles.
- Preferable: Coursework or projects in machine learning, data science, or industrial engineering.
**Bonus/Preferred Experience:**
- GPA ≥ 3.6; dual technical‑business degree.
- Experience with Python, machine learning, or large‑language‑model projects.
- Supply Chain process exposure (procurement, order management, inventory, production).
- Prior roles in sales, customer success, or proof‑of‑concept delivery.
