**Job Title**
Summer Intern – AI & Management Consulting (Value Engineering)
**Role Summary**
A 10‑week summer internship focused on supporting Value Engineers in delivering data‑driven process improvement solutions to North American customers using the Celonis Process Intelligence platform. Interns analyze business challenges, build foundational analyses, and participate in client workshops while developing consulting, storytelling, and technical skills.
**Expectations**
- Gain hands‑on experience with Celonis technology (SQL/PQL, data analytics tools).
- Support client engagements, workshop facilitation, and solution development.
- Produce reports, templates, and best‑practice documentation for the Global VE team.
- Develop consulting competencies: problem solving, data storytelling, stakeholder presentation.
- Demonstrate collaboration, proactive learning, and effective communication in a fast‑paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Analyze customer business challenges and identify Celonis‑based optimization opportunities.
2. Build basic SQL/PQL queries and reports to support process analyses.
3. Assist in preparing and delivering customer presentations and workshop materials.
4. Shadow and actively participate in client engagements, workshops, and technical discussions.
5. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by creating templates, documentation, and best‑practice guides.
6. Enhance consulting skills through problem‑solving exercises, data storytelling, and stakeholder communication.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one data analytics tool/programming language (Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong analytical, creative problem‑solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex insights clearly.
- Collaborative mindset, ability to work in a dynamic, cross‑functional team.
- Interest in AI applications for business problems.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and receptive to feedback.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable STEM field.
- Previous internship, project work, or academic experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related area is a plus.
