**Job Title:** Lead DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary:** Lead cloud infrastructure strategy and operations with technical expertise in AWS environments, driving reliability, scalability, and automation. Provide leadership and mentorship to DevOps teams while ensuring compliance with security and governance standards.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 7+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Proven leadership in managing DevOps teams or infrastructure projects.
- Strong AWS proficiency and hands-on experience with disaster recovery, high-availability systems, and cloud governance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and optimize secure, scalable AWS infrastructure.
- Define and maintain disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity strategies.
- Oversee CI/CD pipeline development, monitoring, and automation to support cross-team delivery.
- Resolve complex infrastructure incidents and coordinate incident response.
- Implement infrastructure observability solutions (monitoring, logging, performance tuning).
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to enhance system reliability and scalability.
- Automate processes to reduce manual operations and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and compliance frameworks across environments.
**Required Skills:**
- AWS services: EC2, VPC, RDS, IAM, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK.
- CI/CD platforms: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
- Linux systems administration, networking, and security best practices.
- Scripting/programming: Python, Bash, Go.
- Strong troubleshooting and escalation management capabilities.
- Advanced communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- No specific certifications required; AWS-related certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) may be advantageous.
