Head of Sales – Managed Services Provider (MSP)
**Role Summary**
Lead commercial strategy and revenue growth for a fast‑growing MSP specializing in SD‑WAN, SASE, managed IT, cloud services, and enterprise connectivity. Build, coach, and scale a high‑performing B2B sales team. Partner with Marketing, Product, Service Delivery, and vendors to align positioning and drive new business while expanding existing mid‑market and enterprise accounts.
**Expectations**
* Deliver multi‑million‑pound recurring revenue growth within a short time frame.
* Build a scalable sales process and a culture of high performance and accountability.
* Represent the company to senior decision‑makers (CIO, COO, IT Director) and maintain strong vendor relationships.
* Operate within a PE‑backed environment with rapid scaling.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Own commercial growth across the managed services portfolio.
* Design and refine a structured sales approach for new business acquisition.
* Expand and protect existing accounts through cross‑sell, upsell, and renewal activities.
* Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team; set clear goals and performance metrics.
* Strengthen partnerships with key vendors (Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, Openreach, Virgin Media Business) and broader cloud/security partners.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Service Delivery to ensure value propositions demonstrate business value, security, and operational resilience.
* Define go‑to‑market plans and track commercial KPIs.
**Required Skills**
* 7+ years of sales leadership in an MSP or network services environment.
* Proven track record of generating multi‑million‑pound recurring revenue.
* Deep knowledge of SD‑WAN, SASE, secure networking, managed IT, and cloud service models.
* Strategic thinking with ability to translate strategy into execution.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders.
* Collaborative mindset to work cross‑functionally and with external partners.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
* Industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Sales, CompTIA Server+) preferred but not mandatory.
