**Job title**
Consultant / Senior Analytics Data Engineer – dbt/Snowflake
**Role Summary**
Design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines on Snowflake orchestrated by dbt and CI/CD. Own end‑to‑end delivery: requirement analysis, architecture, costing, development, quality assurance, and governance. Drive security, performance, and observability while coaching internal teams on modern data practices.
**Expectations**

- Proactively identify and resolve technical and business challenges.
- Mentor and upskill client and internal stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of Snowflake, dbt, and the broader Modern Data Stack ecosystem.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Architect, develop, document, and deploy Snowflake pipelines orchestrated via dbt.
2. Define robust data models (modelling, best practices, AI touches).
3. Manage Snowflake security, roles, access, and platform observability (performance, FinOps, governance).
4. Implement DataOps principles: tests, CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation.
5. Participate in solution‑architecture workshops, technology‑choice discussions around Snowflake, dbt, complementary tools.
6. Deliver thought leadership on technical‑business problem solving.
7. Coach and enable client teams on modern data practices.
**Required Skills**
- 3–5 years Data Engineering cloud experience.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake (admin, governance, optimisation, security, FinOps).
- Advanced dbt (Cloud/Core) – macros, tests, CI/CD, project structuring.
- Strong SQL, ELT, and conceptual data modelling.
- Proficient in Python, Airflow, Docker.
- Professional English communication.
- Passion for modern data architecture, strong analytical, solution‑focused.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Data, or equivalent.
- Industry certifications (Snowflake, dbt, cloud platforms) are a plus.
