Job Title: AI Research Engineer – Foundation Models Role Summary: Research, design, and train large‑scale Vision‑Language and multimodal foundational models for defense‑grade autonomous systems. Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle from data curation to evaluation, integrating cutting‑edge academic advances into production pipelines. Expectations: - MSc or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. - Demonstrated experience training or fine‑tuning large‑scale LLMs, VLMs, or multimodal models. - Strong programming in Python; proficiency in PyTorch or JAX; ability to implement custom layers, losses, and distributed training loops. - Excellent communication and ability to translate complex theory into actionable code. - First‑principles mindset with a habit of reading and applying recent ArXiv research.
