Job title: Manager, Software Engineering
Role Summary: Lead a cross‑functional team of software engineers to design, develop, and productize a SaaS-based Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) platform, delivering scalable data pipelines, reporting, and analytics for cloud, on‑prem, and IoT assets.
Expectations: • Provide technical leadership and mentorship in an agile, fast‑paced environment.
• Own end‑to‑end product development from concept to release under SLA commitments.
• Drive innovation through agentic, AI‑driven frameworks and low‑code extensibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coach a team of developers and engineering leads.
- Design, build, and deliver highly scalable, reliable SaaS solutions, including data pipelines, reporting, and analytics.
- Manage all development phases: requirements, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and release.
- Mentor junior engineers, monitor daily tasks, and foster professional growth.
- Handle customer issues, escalations, and SLA performance.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross‑functional teams across time zones.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and security frameworks.
- Lead delivery of MCP‑compliant agentic systems and autonomous digital agents exposing asset insights via APIs.
Required Skills:
- 12+ years SaaS software development; 2+ years managing diverse engineering teams in Agile.
- Experience building high‑volume data pipelines with distributed systems (Kafka, Spark).
- Strong programming in Golang, C, or Java; Python and Spark proficiency.
- Proven track record of shipping scalable software on Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Expertise with agentic/AI‑driven frameworks for productivity and reliability.
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux, relational/time‑series/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM Cloud).
- Understanding of DNS, IPAM, networking (switching, routing) and data‑center/cloud technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring/diagnostics interfaces (SSE, gNMI, gRPC, SNMP, REST, NETCONF).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- No specific certifications required; relevant AWS/Azure/GCP credentials are a plus.
