Job Title: Manager of Digital Messaging
Role Summary: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing communications across authenticated channels and email to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention for a Canadian banking client.
Expectations: Deliver end‑to‑end campaign management, ensuring compliance with CASL, privacy regulations, and industry best practices. Provide data‑driven insights, lead cross‑functional coordination, and manage multiple concurrent initiatives with clear timelines and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, launch, and optimize digital campaigns across mobile, online, ABM, and email platforms.
• Ensure compliance with CASL, anti‑spam, and privacy regulations in all campaign activities.
• Partner with analytics, data science, and marketing science teams to deliver full‑funnel measurement and integrate lower‑funnel data sources (Adobe Analytics, authenticated channel metrics).
• Identify and recommend campaign optimizations (triggers, deep linking, retargeting, omni‑channel opportunities).
• Collaborate with journey managers and campaign enablement teams to resolve pre‑ and post‑production issues.
• Lead campaign testing, post‑campaign analysis, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Oversee day‑to‑day project management, including timelines, risk mitigation, and coordination with internal and external partners.
• Contribute to a high‑performance culture through coaching, knowledge sharing, and inclusive leadership.
Required Skills:
• 3–4+ years of digital marketing experience with authenticated and email channels.
• Proficiency in platforms such as Responsys, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Adobe Experience Manager.
• Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Power BI, and Adobe CDP.
• Strong project management abilities; adept at prioritizing multiple initiatives and managing end‑to‑end delivery.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas).
• Knowledge of multi‑touch attribution and/or marketing mix modeling.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills; ability to influence across teams.
• Bilingual proficiency in English (French or Spanish a plus).
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant platform certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert, Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification) are a plus.
