Job Description

**Job title** High Performance Centre Intern **Role Summary** An entry‑level internship supporting the daily operations of a High Performance Centre. Interns assist with sport science testing, clinical massage, client onboarding, data management and overall centre maintenance under supervision, gaining hands‑on experience in a high‑performance setting. **Expectations** - 4–5 hours per week, flexible schedule. - Begin under close supervision and progress toward independent support of athletes/clients. - Maintain high standards of hygiene, protocol adherence and professionalism. **Key Responsibilities** - Organise, prepare and maintain cleanliness of the centre and testing areas. - Manage stock levels and reset equipment for each session. - Welcome clients, explain procedures, and assist during testing or therapy sessions. - Deliver sport science assessments (e.g., VO₂ max, blood lactate profiling, force plate analysis). - Record client data accurately and complete session documentation. - Provide sport massage support where required. **Required Skills** - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to follow established protocols and uphold hygiene standards. - Basic knowledge of sport science testing and clinical massage techniques. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrolment in a Sports Science degree program. - Completed or currently studying a Level 3 Sport Massage qualification. ---
