Job Description

Job Title: Senior Back End Developer (.NET) Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud‑based eCommerce applications using C#/.NET, focusing on core B2C/B2B ticketing platforms, while shaping technical strategy and ensuring high quality code. Expectations: - Own complex backend features and API integrations for eCommerce solutions. - Drive architectural decisions, technology stack choices, and coding standards. - Mentor junior developers and foster best practices in Agile and DevOps environments. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Front‑end, Commercial) to implement customer‑centric features. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, test, and deploy scalable backend services in Azure. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, handling data persistence with SQL Server. - Lead code reviews, enforce quality metrics, and implement automated CI/CD pipelines. - Architect and implement infrastructure-as-code for cloud and on‑premise deployments. - Evaluate and modernise legacy technology stacks, including cloud‑native migrations. - Integrate third‑party APIs and, where applicable, CMS platforms. - Participate in product scoping, prioritisation, and iterative release cycles. - Support operational teams with next‑generation software solutions. Required Skills: - 5+ years of .NET backend development experience, with strong C# and SQL expertise. - Proficient in Azure cloud services, ARM templates, and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure DevOps). - Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and RESTful API design. - Experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross‑functional collaboration. - Ability to evaluate and modernise legacy systems toward cloud‑native architectures. - Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - .NET certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) preferred but not mandatory.
