Job Description
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain high‑scale backend services and data pipelines that support cloud security platforms. Lead the full development lifecycle, ensuring reliability, performance, and operational excellence, while collaborating cross‑functionally with product, QA, and DevOps teams. Expectations: 5+ years of professional software development experience; strong ownership across launch to maintenance phases; proven ability to solve novel problems in distributed environments; proactive collaboration and clear communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Own and evolve the architecture of a customer journey platform for security installations. - Build and maintain health‑management services for deployed resources. - Develop micro‑services that ingest, process, and serve large‑scale datasets. - Design scalable, reliable, and high‑performance solutions on public cloud platforms. - Write comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests. - Participate in on‑call rotations to resolve urgent incidents. - Deploy and monitor services into production, ensuring continuous availability. - Collaborate with product, quality, and operations to translate user needs into technical solutions. Required Skills: - Expertise in Go (Golang) for backend service development. - Experience designing and implementing micro‑services and distributed systems. - Proficiency in building data processing pipelines and RESTful APIs. - Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure infrastructure and services. - Solid testing practices: unit, integration, and performance testing. - Ability to architect for scalability, reliability, and performance. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
