**Job title:** Staff Engineering Analyst – Regional Maintenance & Reliability
**Role Summary:**
Provide expert maintenance and reliability support across North American manufacturing plants, leading strategy development, data‑driven analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, availability, and maintainability.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver measurable improvements in OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and MCPEU.
- Ensure compliance with CMMS data governance, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Travel up to 25% as required.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver tactical maintenance and reliability support for plants.
- Mentor teams on best practices and conduct reliability reviews (criticality, PM optimization, bad‑actor analysis, BOMs).
- Lead root cause failure analysis for frequent or safety‑related incidents.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies (lubrication, PM, PdM, CBM) using FMEA, OEM guidance, and industry best practices.
- Manage equipment life‑cycle, provide input on capital projects, and drive improvements via data analytics.
- Collaborate with operations, continuous improvement, and engineering on improvement projects and technology implementations (mobile CMMS, lubrication app, AI‑based maintenance).
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and data governance standards.
**Required Skills:**
- 8+ years in maintenance or engineering with a proven track record of improvement outcomes.
- Expertise in RCA, FMEA, CMMS (SAP preferred), and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills; ability to translate analytics into OEE, MTBF, and MTTR gains.
- Excellent relationship‑building, cross‑functional collaboration, and strategic business acumen.
- Ability to travel ~25%.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data visualization tools.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) or intent to obtain within six months.
