Job Description
**Job Title:** Interim HRIS Data & Reporting Manager – Day Rate (Inside IR35) **Role Summary:** Seasoned data leader responsible for defining and executing the HR data and reporting strategy. Drives the creation of actionable Power BI dashboards, ensures data quality and governance, and mentors a small reporting team while interfacing with C‑suite stakeholders to deliver insight‑driven decisions. **Expectations:** - Lead HR data strategy and reporting function on a 6‑12 month contract. - Produce high‑impact analytics that influence senior leadership. - Maintain rigorous data quality and governance standards. - Communicate complex data concepts clearly to non‑technical executives. - Foster a collaborative, high‑performing reporting team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement the overall HR reporting roadmap. - Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and self‑service reporting tools. - Establish and enforce data governance policies, data lineage, and quality controls. - Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from HRIS systems. - Provide insights and recommendations to senior leaders on workforce trends. - Mentor and develop junior analysts/reporting staff. - Act as primary liaison between HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment. - Monitor and report on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount, diversity, talent acquisition). **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency with Power BI (report design, DAX, data modeling). - Strong expertise in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM). - Proven experience in data governance, data quality management, and ETL processes. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills. - Ability to translate technical data findings into business‑focused insights. - Effective communication and stakeholder management, especially with C‑suite. - Leadership experience managing small analytics/reporting teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant HRIS certification (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) preferred. - Power BI or Microsoft data analytics certification advantageous.
