Job Title: Global Digital IT – Performance Analyst
Role Summary:
Serve as the financial steward for the Global Digital & IT (GDIT) organization, ensuring transparent, predictable, and optimized operating costs across infrastructure, cloud, networks, and applications. Provide data‑driven insights, maintain cost governance, and drive value realization while partnering with finance, procurement, and technical teams.
Expactations:
- Deliver accurate, timely financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
- Maintain strong control over IT spend, preventing cost overruns and identifying savings.
- Uphold governance standards, compliance, and contractual integrity.
- Build credibility as the go‑to financial advisor for GDIT leaders and technical partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial ops: conduct internal audits, track invoices, create purchase orders, and manage contract renewals/adjustments.
- Partner with GDIT leaders to provide cost governance, spend visibility, and adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate with Finance Controllers and Procurement to negotiate and align contracts before signatures.
- Compare actual usage versus contracted services; flag optimization opportunities and advise on vendor discussions.
- Forecast, monitor, and predict financial flows; supply insights to mitigate overruns and enhance cost efficiency.
- Maintain robust data integrity, track spend patterns, and propose cost‑saving levers and process improvements.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT operations and technical service delivery (FinOps/cloud experience highly valuable).
- Proficient in financial tracking, forecasting, and analysis within an operational/IT context.
- Effective contract management and vendor negotiation skills; meticulous attention to accuracy and cost control.
- Analytical mindset with structured problem‑solving; ability to assess overall financial performance.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and advisory capabilities; comfortable challenging technical experts.
- Curious, agile, and adaptable; able to operate across finance, procurement, and technical teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), FinOps Foundation Certified (FOC), or relevant cloud finance/cloud‑operations certifications.
