Job Description
**Job title:** Embedded Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Develop, test, and maintain embedded software for advanced wireless communication products that support mission‑critical systems. The role involves programming in C++ and C, integrating with Linux kernel and device drivers, collaborating with hardware, RF, and systems teams, and participating in the full product lifecycle from concept to deployment. **Expectations:** - Deliver reliable, real‑time embedded software that meets stringent performance and security requirements. - Engage hands‑on with hardware platforms to validate functionality and debug at the intersection of software and electronics. - Contribute continuously to product improvement and innovation across evolving technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and document embedded software for sophisticated wireless communication systems. - Program primarily in C++ for embedded applications; implement lower‑level functions in C, including Linux kernel and device driver components. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, RF, systems) to define requirements and resolve integration challenges. - Support integration, testing, and debugging on real hardware, ensuring quality and reliability. - Participate in all product lifecycle stages: concept, development, deployment, and post‑deployment support. - Drive continuous improvement and incorporate new technologies and best practices. **Required Skills:** - Strong experience with embedded software development in C++. - Solid understanding of embedded systems and real‑time constraints. - Proficiency working in Linux‑based environments and debugging across software/hardware interfaces. - Hands‑on problem‑solving mindset and willingness to work directly with hardware. - Desirable: DSP experience; VHDL/FPGA development; Linux kernel/device driver knowledge; RF or communications systems knowledge. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred). ---
