**Job Title:** Commercial Director **Role Summary:** Lead the overall commercial strategy and performance of a French industrial group with €55 M in annual revenue. Manage 60 indirect sales staff through 4 sales managers and several service heads. Drive growth, profitability, and market expansion while maintaining strong relationships with distributors, installers, and technical partners. **Expectations:** * Deliver a cohesive commercial strategy aligned with senior management goals. * Maintain and enhance indirect sales processes, including partner prescription and channel management. * Achieve revenue and margin targets, ensuring disciplined budget control. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and strong team cohesion. **Key Responsibilities:** * Define and execute the group’s commercial strategy. * Lead and develop sales managers and service leaders. * Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs). * Plan and oversee commercial budgets and action plans. * Provide on‑field support, advising teams on market realities and partner engagement. * Negotiate high‑stakes national deals, manage strategic listings, and resolve major disputes. * Coordinate cross‑functional alignment with Sales Administration, Project Estimation, and Corporate Strategy. * Contribute to ongoing commercial policy evolution and organizational best practices. * Represent the company to partners and pursue new market opportunities. * Integrate CSR, quality, and environmental considerations into commercial decisions. **Required Skills:** * Proven commercial leadership in a technical or industrial environment (10+ years). * Deep understanding of indirect sales channels, partner ecosystems, and prescription logic. * Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and financial acumen. * Excellent leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills. * High emotional intelligence and stakeholder‑management proficiency. * Fluency in English (professional working level). * Ability to travel regularly and work on the ground with sales teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. * Certified Commercial Manager or equivalent (preferred).
