**Job title**
WebMethods Integration Developer (H/F)
**Role summary**
Design, develop and maintain integration solutions on the webMethods platform for a global logistics provider. The position focuses on creating robust, scalable Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) services, BPM flows, and API integrations, ensuring performance, monitoring, and quality standards are met across internal and external data exchanges.
**Expectations**
- Deliver clean, efficient integration services aligned with business requirements.
- Act as the primary technical resource for webMethods development and operational support.
- Produce clear documentation and share knowledge with team members.
- Adhere to coding best practices, performance benchmarks, and security standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement, deployment, and N3 support activities.
**Key responsibilities**
- Design, code, test, and deploy webMethods services, BPM flows, and adapters (JDBC, SAP, FTP).
- Configure and manage integration workflows using IS, MWS, Designer, and CCE tools.
- Ensure solutions comply with robustness, performance, monitoring, maintainability, and scalability requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in production and during development.
- Maintain process documentation, technical specifications, and reporting artefacts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional designs.
- Assist in the deployment pipeline, release management, and production roll‑outs.
- Provide N3 support and incremental enhancements for existing production flows.
- Engage in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of ESB components.
- Contribute to backlog grooming using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
- Utilize ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Azure DevOps VSTS) for defect tracking and task management.
**Required skills**
- Proficiency with webMethods Integration Server, Designer Flow/BPM, MWS, Broker/UM, and Command Central.
- Strong programming in Java, XML, and SQL.
- Solid understanding of SOA concepts, REST/JSON, SOAP, EDIFACT, and data mapping.
- Experience with API management (Swagger, RAML), batch processing, and data objects.
- Familiarity with exchange protocols: AS2, HTTPS, SFTP.
- Knowledge of ESB/ETL/MDM platforms is a plus.
- Experience structuring and maintaining Azure DevOps (or similar) backlogs and pipelines.
- Ability to document integration schemas, processes, and procedures comprehensively.
**Required education & certifications**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience with webMethods projects, including BPM and charge processes.
- Certifications in webMethods (optional but advantageous).
