Job Description
**Job Title** Business Finance Co‑ordinator **Role Summary** Coordinate finance activities within a healthcare setting, generating patient invoices, managing billing queries, reducing aged debt, and allocating payments. Support Billing, Credit Control and Provider Ledger functions across multiple sites to maximise revenue and maintain accurate financial records. **Expectations** - Proactive team player with strong organisational and prioritisation skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication; confident in liaising with internal departments and external insurers. - Ability to handle a busy workload, meet deadlines and support continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Produce accurate patient invoices using agreed tariffs. - Resolve billing queries by liaising with internal teams and insurers. - Ensure pre‑authorisation requirements are fulfilled and documented. - Reduce aged debt through timely debtor correspondence. - Process and allocate payments from patients, insurers and NHS sources. **Required Skills** - Strong organisational and multi‑tasking abilities. - Effective communication (written & verbal). - Attention to detail and problem‑solving. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Team collaboration and continuous‑improvement mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English. - Prior experience in an administrative or finance‑related role. - No specific degree required. ---
