**Job title** Operations Assistant **Role Summary** Support day‑to‑day back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house operations in a high‑volume retail environment, ensuring smooth inventory management, accurate sales processing, and efficient administrative functions to enable seamless store performance. **Expectations** - Maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in stock control, sales transactions, and administrative duties. - Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and a proactive, positive attitude. - Uphold store policies, safety, and brand presentation at all times. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist in receiving, organising, and replenishing stock; support stockroom layout and merchandising. - Participate in bi‑annual inventory counts, cycle counts, and stocktake preparation. - Manage sales transactions via cashier system, including cash handling and credit card processing. - Support daily bank‑related activities: cash reconciliation, daily balance closure, and banking procedures. - Maintain administrative records, paperwork, and store documentation. - Perform basic facilities and housekeeping duties to sustain a clean, safe, and secure shop environment. - Follow standard operating procedures and store policies; promptly communicate issues to management. **Required Skills** - Proficient computer literacy and familiarity with integrated retail systems (e.g., POS, inventory software). - Detail‑oriented inventory and cash handling skills. - Strong organisational and multitasking ability. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast‑paced team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum high‑school diploma or equivalent. - Certification or training in basic cash‑handling and POS operation preferred.
