Job title: ServiceNow Business Analyst
Role Summary: Strategic partner to enterprise clients, converting complex business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CMDB, Asset Management and Service Catalog. Drives greenfield implementations, roadmap design, and process improvement within Agile delivery environments.
Expactations: Deliver high‑quality, actionable ServiceNow requirements and design documentation; collaborate closely with product owners, architects, developers, and business leaders; manage UAT and regression testing; support change management through training and adoption initiatives; continuously improve ServiceNow usage and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage stakeholders to identify objectives and translate them into clear, executable ServiceNow requirements.
- Advise on process design, governance, and roadmap for ITSM, CMDB, Asset, and Service Catalog modules.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert in IT Service Management, guiding teams through best‑practice configurations.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and developers to design workflows, CMDB structures, asset environments, and catalog offerings.
- Produce process flows, business rules, functional designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
- Translate business needs into solution concepts, validate through walkthroughs, prototypes, and testing.
- Lead test planning, UAT, and regression validation for service and data integrity.
- Contribute to training, documentation, and communication to promote adoption.
- Partner with IT leadership on continuous improvement, CMDB governance, and process optimization.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years experience implementing or supporting ServiceNow in enterprise environments.
- 4+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst with proven ability to translate complex business needs into ServiceNow capabilities.
- 1–2 greenfield net‑new ServiceNow build projects.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM processes, CMDB design, Asset module setup, and Service Catalog management.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, user story definition, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Strong ITIL principles application within ServiceNow.
- Excellent analytical, detail‑oriented, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work cross‑functionally.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification (preferred).
- ServiceNow certifications or micro‑certifications are highly preferred.
