Job Description
Job title: Data Protection & Compliance Officer (Contract) Role Summary: Provide day‑to‑day compliance support for data protection (GDPR), artificial intelligence, anti‑corruption, and group’s due diligence. Serve as the internal point of contact for compliance matters, integrate regulatory requirements into business processes, manage compliance tools, conduct DPIAs, negotiate contract clauses, and monitor regulatory developments. Deliver training and awareness to teams and support the Data Protection Officer on cross‑functional projects. Expactations: * 1‑2 years of relevant experience, preferably in data protection or compliance. * Professional proficiency in English. * Ability to communicate effectively with all business units, exercise discretion, and work autonomously and proactively. * Strong analytical, synthesis, and drafting skills. Key Responsibilities: * Respond to and manage data subject access, rectification, and erasure requests; maintain procedures and accountability. * Audit, update, and optimize the personal data processing register and related tools. * Conduct DPIA analyses, recommend corrective actions, and track implementation. * Negotiate and review contractual clauses for group compliance requirements. * Act as a reference for anti‑corruption and due‑diligence initiatives; monitor risk‑identification and corrective actions. * Maintain continuous regulatory watch on GDPR, AI, anti‑corruption, and due‑diligence developments; assess impact on operations. * Disseminate alerts and information to stakeholders; assist the DPO on transversal projects. * Contribute to the design and delivery of compliance awareness and training programmes. Required Skills: * Knowledge of GDPR, AI regulations, anti‑corruption frameworks, and due‑diligence obligations. * Experience with compliance toolsets (processing register, rights‑management platform). * Strong written and oral communication in English and French. * Analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex information. * Proactive, self‑directed, and comfortable working across diverse teams. * Relationship‑building and team‑collaboration skills. Required Education & Certifications: * Master’s level (equivalent to Master 2) in Law with a focus on digital/data protection or Compliance. * Qualification or certification in GDPR, Data Protection, or similar is an advantage.
