**Job Title:** Salesforce Tech Lead – Sales and Service
**Role Summary:**
Senior Salesforce Engineering Lead responsible for designing, architecting, and delivering scalable Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions. Serves as technical authority for a dedicated Salesforce delivery team, translating strategic business goals into high‑performance, secure, enterprise‑grade applications. Leads full development lifecycle, mentors junior engineers, and manages cross‑functional integrations with ERP and data platforms.
**Expectations:**
- 7+ years software engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on Salesforce development/architecture.
- Proven track record of end‑to‑end Salesforce implementations for Sales or Service Cloud.
- Strong command of Apex, Lightning Components, Flow, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and agile delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to evaluate and incorporate new Salesforce platform features.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Lead technical design and architecture for Sales/Service Cloud projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
2. Build enterprise‑grade solutions using Apex, Lightning, Flow, and APIs, balancing custom development with native capabilities.
3. Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables in partnership with product managers and stakeholders.
4. Own end‑to‑end development lifecycle: design, prototype, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
5. Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and documentation standards.
6. Mentor and coach junior engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence.
7. Collaborate across teams to integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
8. Identify and resolve technical challenges, addressing performance bottlenecks, security concerns, and platform limitations.
9. Stay current with Salesforce updates, evaluate new features, and recommend adoption strategies.
**Required Skills:**
- Apex programming and testing.
- Lightning Components (Aura/LWC) development.
- Flow, Process Builder, and declarative automation.
- REST/SOAP API integrations.
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- DevOps and release management.
- Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Performance tuning and security best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (required).
- Salesforce Application Architect and/or Technical Architect certifications are a plus.
