Job Title: Practice Manager
Role Summary
Lead and oversee a multi‑disciplinary delivery practice focused on Data, Cloud, AI, and Digital Engineering, ensuring high‑quality service delivery, profitability, and strategic growth.
Expectations
- Deliver operational excellence: quality, timelines, margins, client satisfaction, and P&L ownership.
- Provide visionary leadership, recruit top talent, and develop team capabilities.
- Drive business development, win complex proposals, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Cultivate strategic technology partnerships and elevate the practice’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage capacity, forecasting, and Go/No‑Go decisions for fixed‑price and engaged projects.
- Supervise engineering, tech‑lead, and delivery‑manager teams; set clear performance metrics.
- Design and implement training, certification pathways, and talent development plans.
- Conduct rigorous technical hiring and evaluation processes.
- Analyze practice performance, generate reports, and recommend action plans aligned with corporate strategy.
- Collaborate with sales to respond to RFPs and support pre‑sales activities.
- Identify new markets, clients, use‑cases, and alliance prospects to grow revenue and profitability.
- Build and animate technology partnerships (hyperscalers, vendors, integrators).
- Organize technical and business events (meetups, webinars, internal communities).
- Maintain proactive monitoring of technology, regulatory, and competitive trends.
- Ensure consistency of technical and methodological standards across projects.
- Coordinate with related practices (Data Platform, Cloud, AI, Digital Engineering) for seamless integration.
- Promote data industrialization practices and data asset management.
- Contribute to new offering and IP development.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of senior delivery or practice management in Data/Cloud/AI/Digital Engineering.
- Proven leadership and team‑building capabilities; ability to inspire multidisciplinary groups.
- Strong P&L, capacity planning, and forecasting acumen.
- Excellent communication with executive committees and strategic partners.
- Deep technical knowledge in at least one of: Data Platform, Cloud, AI, DevOps, Analytics, Governance.
- Familiarity with contractual and HR frameworks (CIGREF, GEPEC, SYNTEC).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, results‑oriented, with high quality standards.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMP, Prince2), Agile/Scrum, Cloud, or Data Platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks).
- Knowledge of industry standards such as CIGREF, GEPEC, or SYNTEC preferred.
