DevOps Support Engineer
**Role Summary**
Provide expert, day‑to‑day technical support for the Copado platform, ensuring high availability, security, and integration fidelity for global customers. Resolve complex Salesforce and DevOps issues, maintain accurate documentation, deliver training, and identify upsell opportunities to drive customer satisfaction and platform adoption.
**Expactations**
- 1–5 years Salesforce experience and 1–5 years in customer support or DevOps.
- Proficiency in SaaS environments, APIs, XML, CLI, SQL, and error‑log analysis.
- Knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and hosted version control used with Copado.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to prioritize escalations.
- Strong written and verbal English communication; experience with remote, global teams.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Copado Admin and Developer Certifications required; Salesforce certifications preferred.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage case queues according to SLA agreements.
- Respond to technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective workarounds.
- Advocate customer needs, manage expectations, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Develop deep product expertise and apply it to customer success.
- Create, review, and update knowledge‑base articles for accuracy and continuous improvement.
- Research, document, and – when necessary – elevate cases following established procedures.
- Deliver product and technical training to users and internal teams.
- Review support tickets for technical accuracy and procedural compliance.
- Identify and articulate upsell opportunities to higher‑level stakeholders.
- Execute assigned project tasks within scope and timeline.
**Required Skills**
- Salesforce platform mastery (configuration, APIs, data modeling).
- DevOps fundamentals: CI/CD pipelines, branching, version control, and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and cloud‑based SaaS workflows.
- Strong diagnostic skills: XML, API logs, CLI, SQL querying, and error‑log analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Prioritization, escalation, and time‑management skills under pressure.
- Collaboration experience with remote, cross‑functional, global teams.
- Customer‑first mindset with proven relationships building and negotiation capabilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Copado Admin and Developer Certifications (mandatory).
- Salesforce Platform Administrator / Developer certifications (highly preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline is preferred but not mandatory if certifications and experience are met.
