**Job Title**: Data Scientist
**Role Summary**:
Lead the research, development, and production of AI/ML solutions that enhance supply‑chain analytics. Collaborate with product, development, and cloud teams to prototype, build, deploy, and monitor models that drive business decision‑making.
**Expectations**:
- Deliver end‑to‑end ML pipelines meeting performance and reliability standards.
- Continuously evaluate, benchmark, and incorporate emerging data‑science techniques.
- Ensure model health through monitoring, retraining, and issue remediation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Explore large datasets, engineer features, and conduct statistical analysis to uncover insights.
- Build, validate, and production‑grade ML models using Python and open‑source libraries.
- Deploy models to a cloud‑based ML platform, manage lifecycle via microservices architecture.
- Work cross‑functionally with data‑science, product, and cloud teams to prototype and ship solutions across multiple products.
- Monitor model drift and performance, provide actionable reports to stakeholders.
- Document methodologies, experiments, and business impact for technical and non‑technical audiences.
**Required Skills**:
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and relational database design.
- Experienced with pandas, numpy, scikit‑learn, xgboost, and data‑visualization tools.
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, sampling, multivariate modeling.
- Expertise in model training, validation, hyper‑parameter tuning, and reproducible pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices.
- Excellent communication, data storytelling, and collaborative teamwork.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional data‑science experience.
- Machine‑learning or cloud platform certifications are a plus.
