**Job Title**
CDMMS Network Architect
**Role Summary**
Provide advanced network architecture and security expertise for the CDM division’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the IRIS network across France and internationally.
**Expectations**
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network solutions.
- Manage firewalls, switches, and inter‑connections to meet performance and compliance requirements.
- Serve as primary incident escalation point for cross‑functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement through documentation, architecture reviews, and alignment with project standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Supervise and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls) across domestic and international sites.
2. Define, open, and document firewall rules (FOF) on Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
3. Configure, interconnect, and troubleshoot Aruba, Cisco, F5, and other switching equipment.
4. Conduct “run‑time” support and optimisations of network solutions and devices.
5. Act as the incident resolution lead, coordinating with IT, security, and operations.
6. Deploy, configure, and evolve network gear while keeping an updated inventory.
7. Contribute to technical architecture decisions, ensuring integration consistency and alignment with architecture guidelines.
8. Author and maintain detailed technical architecture documents (DAT‑D, DAT‑G) and operational procedures.
9. Participate in compliance checks and industrial network security assessments.
10. Deliver analysis, planning, and progress reports; prepare RACI matrices and audit‑ready documentation.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced proficiency with Fortinet, PaloAlto, Cisco, Aruba, F5 firewalls and switches.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, routing (static/dynamic), LAN/WAN/VLAN, Wi‑Fi (Aruba ClearPass).
- Security tool experience: firewall, proxy, load balancing, monitoring (Centreon).
- Operating systems: Windows, Linux; virtualization: VMware, VxRail.
- Storage systems: NetApp, DataDomain.
- Familiarity with URBasec, CMDB, ServiceNow.
- Strong documentation, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: CCNP/CCNA, PaloAlto PAN‑OS, Fortinet NSE, Aruba certification, F5 Certified Technology Specialist.
