Job Description
Job title: Software Sales Manager (SaaS) Role Summary: Drive and scale a high‑performing B2B SaaS sales team focused on acquiring new logos and maintaining strong pipeline coverage within the health and wellness vertical. Expectations: Lead by example, set revenue goals, collaborate with marketing, and deliver consistent results that exceed quarterly targets. Key Responsibilities: - Recruit, coach, and manage a team of Account Executives. - Establish a high‑accountability sales culture through regular 1:1s and team reviews. - Partner with the BDR Manager to optimize lead qualification and ensure seamless handoffs. - Design, refine, and implement sales workflows, cadence plans, and objection‑handling scripts. - Maintain a 3–4x pipeline coverage; track metrics such as meetings booked, held rates, conversion, win rates, and quota attainment. - Align ICP, messaging, and lead‑list strategy with Marketing. - Capture and analyze customer insights; provide feedback to Marketing and Product teams. - Build and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting in Salesforce and Outreach. - Support new logo acquisition and long‑term client relationship development. Required Skills: - 5+ years of leading SaaS sales teams, preferably in B2B SMB environments. - Proven history of exceeding revenue targets. - Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management capabilities. - Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, Gong/Chorus, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. - Data‑driven mindset focused on pipeline metrics and conversion optimization. - Experience in high‑growth or startup SaaS environments. - Background selling to SMBs; wellness/fitness industry experience is highly desirable. - Ability to build teams during early‑stage or hypergrowth phases. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. - No specific certifications required.
