Job Description
**Job title**: Application Developer **Role Summary**: Develop, maintain, and extend cloud‑based applications for field service operations using C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and SQL Server. Lead solution ownership from design through deployment on Microsoft Azure (AKS, Cosmos DB), engaging directly with users and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. **Expectations**: - Deliver clean, well‑tested code on a rapid, iterative schedule. - Own feature end‑to‑end: estimation, implementation, testing, and support. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and continuously learn emerging technologies. - Communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams and end users. **Key Responsibilities**: - Build and maintain cloud‑native applications (C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, SQL Server). - Deploy and operate solutions on Azure, including AKS and Cosmos DB. - Manage JIRA work items: estimation, tracking, and documentation. - Write unit and integration tests; perform peer code reviews. - Integrate third‑party APIs and services. - Collaborate with business to capture requirements, validate solutions, and gather feedback. - Stay current with frameworks, tools and best practices. **Required Skills**: - Programming experience in C# (preferred) or a comparable language (Python, Java, JavaScript). - Proficiency with ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and relational databases (SQL Server). - Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, Cosmos DB, other services). - Familiarity with Git, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines. - Comfortable working in Agile teams; participation in daily stand‑ups and retrospectives. - Strong written and verbal communication; ability to engage users and stakeholders. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast‑changing environment. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred). - No mandatory certifications required, though Azure or .NET credentials are advantageous.
