Job Description
**Job Title:** Cloud & Managed Services Engineer **Role Summary:** Provide day‑to‑day operation and support for cloud and managed infrastructure services for small‑to‑mid‑size and large enterprise clients. Manage ticketing, monitoring tooling, incident resolution, and documentation while ensuring high QoS and client satisfaction. **Expectations:** - Maintain operational reliability of client environments. - Deliver quality support with timely incident resolution. - Continuously improve processes and documentation. - Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deploy and configure monitoring solutions across client infrastructures. - Set up, maintain, and upgrade hosted services per technical specifications. - Record, track, and update tickets in the ticketing system. - Update technical and functional reference repositories. - Produce routine operational reports for clients. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for managed services. - Respond to client requests via phone/email, diagnose issues, and resolve or escalation as needed. - Ensure ticket closure with proper documentation and follow‑up. - Keep incident and knowledge bases current and accurate. **Required Skills:** - Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their operational tools. - Experience with monitoring/alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). - Proficient with ticketing and CMDB tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk). - Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proactive approach to documentation and process improvement. - Familiarity with ITIL or similar service‑management frameworks. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Architect). - ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification preferred.
