Job Description
**Job Title** Program Manager – IT & OT Transformation (Oil & Gas) **Role Summary** Lead and govern large‑scale IT and OT transformation programs within safety‑critical oil and gas operations. Manage interconnected projects across OT production, OT non‑production, and IT workloads, ensuring adherence to regulatory, safety, and cybersecurity standards while driving site‑based execution across distributed operational locations. **Expectations** - 8–10 years of program and project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the Oil & Gas sector (upstream, midstream, or downstream). - Proven track record delivering complex IT + OT transformation initiatives in operational environments. - Deep understanding of OT infrastructure (SCADA, DCS, Industrial IoT), safety‑critical systems, and IT‑OT convergence. - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NERC CIP and industry safety standards. - Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. - Ability to align delivery schedules with operational realities (production freezes, maintenance windows, validation cycles). - Experience with change management in operational settings. **Key Responsibilities** - Own program planning, execution, risk management, budget control, dependency tracking, and quality assurance. - Govern multiple interdependent projects, ensuring consistent delivery and governance across OT and IT domains. - Coordinate site‑by‑site execution, avoiding centralized data‑center migrations. - Collaborate with operations, engineering, IT, OT, cybersecurity, vendors, and regulatory bodies. - Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and vendor certification requirements. - Lead steering committee updates, risk escalations, and executive stakeholder communications. - Mentor project managers and technical leads to maintain delivery standards. - Align schedules with operational constraints such as production freezes and validation cycles. **Required Skills** - Expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid). - Proficiency with program management tools (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or equivalent). - Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities. - Ability to manage risk, dependencies, and regulatory compliance in safety‑critical environments. - Experience in change management for operational settings. **Required Education & Certifications** - PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferred. - Additional certifications in SCADA, Industrial IoT, or OT security, where possible.
