Job Description
**Job Title:** ServiceNow CSM Developer (QA Expertise) **Role Summary:** Remote contract role (6‑month extendable) focused on designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) solutions while leading quality‑assurance activities. Works EST hours, collaborates with business stakeholders, and ensures high‑quality releases. **Expectations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end ServiceNow CSM implementations aligned with business requirements. - Execute comprehensive QA processes, including test planning, execution, and defect management. - Maintain coding standards, performance optimization, and accurate documentation. - Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow CSM applications using JavaScript, Glide APIs, workflows, and integrations. - Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions. - Develop and maintain automated test suites (e.g., ATF) and manual test cases. - Conduct unit, integration, regression, and UAT support testing. - Perform root‑cause analysis and troubleshoot issues; implement fixes and enhancements. - Produce technical documentation, release notes, and test scripts. **Required Skills:** - 5+ years ServiceNow development experience, specifically CSM. - Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, workflow design, and REST/SOAP integrations. - Strong QA/testing background within ServiceNow projects; experience with ATF or similar tools. - Knowledge of ITSM/CSM processes and best practices. - Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CIS‑CSM, CAD, or similar.
