**Job Title**: Cyber Security Project Manager
**Role Summary**
Directs and delivers complex cybersecurity initiatives (IAM, PAM, IGA, IAA, DP, Security Operations) within a matrixed organization. Coordinates cross‑functional teams, manages project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk, ensuring alignment with stakeholder priorities and compliance requirements.
**Expectations**
* 14 years of cumulative professional experience, including at least 5 years in technical project management.
* Proven track record managing cybersecurity projects in financial services or equivalent regulated environments.
* Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in matrixed, stakeholder‑rich settings.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Lead end‑to‑end project lifecycle for cybersecurity initiatives (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closeout).
2. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics; maintain detailed project documentation.
3. Create, maintain, and communicate project schedules (MS Project, Azure DevOps) and work plans; track progress against milestones.
4. Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and capacity/demand planning, ensuring timely delivery within cost constraints.
5. Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Scrum, backlog grooming) and coordinate waterfall phases where appropriate.
6. Engage stakeholders at all levels (technical teams, business leaders, compliance, external vendors) to secure alignment and resolve issues.
7. Monitor project risks, issues, and changes; implement mitigation plans and conduct risk reviews.
8. Produce status reports, dashboards (Power BI, Tableau), and executive summaries for senior leadership.
9. Integrate security requirements and compliance controls into project workflows and deliverables.
10. Conduct post‑implementation reviews and lessons‑learned sessions to improve future projects.
**Required Skills**
* Project Management: MS Project, Azure DevOps, Clarity PPM, Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Security Domain: Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Identity Analytics (IAA), Data Protection (DP), Security Operations.
* Methodologies: Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, and Demand & Capacity Management.
* Data & Reporting: Power BI, Tableau.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities.
* Ability to operate effectively in matrixed and stakeholder‑heavy environments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
* PMP certification strongly preferred (other project management certs accepted).
* Cybersecurity‑related certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent) desirable but not mandatory.
