**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS & GitOps
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure AWS infrastructure and GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native applications. Drive automation, reliability, and observability across multi‑cluster Kubernetes environments.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 6 years of professional DevOps experience with AWS.
- Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of end‑to‑end delivery, and communicate complex concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive learning mindset.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and deliver AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform) for services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, IAM, ACM, ASM, PrivateLink, and VPC Lattice.
- Configure and manage multi‑cluster Kubernetes deployments, including networking, storage, and security policies.
- Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and ArgoCD GitOps workflows for continuous integration, delivery, and automated rollouts.
- Implement observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or Datadog; ensure metrics, logs, and alerts support production reliability.
- Create, version, and publish Helm charts; manage application deployment lifecycle via Kubernetes manifests.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define functional requirements, performance targets, and deployment strategies.
- Conduct capacity planning, cost optimization, and security hardening across AWS resources.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in AWS services: EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, ACM, ASM, PrivateLink, VPC Lattice.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Kubernetes orchestration, cluster management, and security.
- Scripting: Bash, Python, or Go.
- GitOps with ArgoCD (multi‑cluster) and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog.
- Optional: Argo Workflows, Helm chart development, experience in SaaS/PaaS environments.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and independent work ethic.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (preferred).
