Job Description
Job Title: Junior Technical Consultant Role Summary: Final‑year or recent computing graduate with a focus on cybersecurity, tasked with designing, implementing, and documenting Identity and Privileged Access Management (IAM/PAM) solutions for global clients, primarily using AWS and Azure. Expectations: Deliver customer‑facing IAM/PAM solutions that meet design specifications; produce accurate documentation; communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders; continuously learn market‑leading technologies and tooling. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the configuration and deployment of IAM/PAM solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). - Collaborate with senior consultants to design identity security architectures tailored to client needs. - Produce and maintain comprehensive solution documentation (designs, runbooks, SOPs). - Translate complex technical challenges into practical, consultative recommendations for clients. - Support testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of identity services. - Participate in client workshops and training sessions to showcase solutions. Required Skills: - Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (user, group, and access management). - Knowledge of IAM or PAM concepts, gained through coursework or practical projects. - Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language: C#, Java, Python, or PowerShell. - Understanding of Unix/Linux operating system fundamentals. - Basic database knowledge (data storage, retrieval concepts). - Core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing). - Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical details. - Analytical problem‑solving mindset and a proactive learning attitude. Required Education & Certifications: - Predicted 1st or 2:1 in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related computing degree. - Certifications beneficial (but not required): CompTIA Security+, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent introductory cloud credentials.
