Account Strategist
**Role Summary**
Drive the full client lifecycle for retail media campaigns, partnering with Sales and Ad Operations to deliver data‑driven advertising solutions. Manage a portfolio of active retail partners, ensuring campaign execution, client satisfaction, and revenue growth through continuous optimization and strategic recommendations.
**Expectations**
- Act as the primary client liaison, understanding evolving marketing objectives and translating them into actionable campaign strategies.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to guarantee on‑time, on‑budget delivery of advertising assets and activations.
- Leverage performance metrics to uncover optimization opportunities, maximizing advertiser ROI and company revenue.
- Identify incremental business opportunities and provide product/growth insights to internal stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Sales Execution** – Partner with Sales to design and present tailored advertising recommendations, align on target objectives, and secure sell‑through.
2. **Client Management** – Own a portfolio of active accounts; conduct regular business reviews, address inquiries, and maintain high satisfaction and retention.
3. **Campaign Delivery Support** – Coordinate with Ad Operations, creative, finance, and analytics teams to ensure seamless campaign launch, monitoring, and reporting.
4. **Performance Analytics** – Continuously track KPI dashboards, analyze results, and propose optimization tactics (e.g., creative tweaks, bid adjustments).
5. **Revenue Growth** – Spot upsell/cross‑sell possibilities, develop revenue‑boosting proposals, and report incremental gains to Sales and Business Analytics.
6. **Product & Process Improvement** – Provide feedback on platform functionality, workflow enhancements, and market trends to inform product roadmap and enablement materials.
**Required Skills**
- 3+ years in advertising, media buying, account management, or e‑commerce marketing.
- Strong understanding of retail media, programmatic advertising, and omni‑channel campaign operations.
- Proficiency in performance analytics (media KPIs, attribution).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French language a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with cross‑functional teams; adept at influencing without authority.
- Analytical, data‑driven problem solving and ability to translate insights into client‑centric solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing analytics platforms.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Data Analytics or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or programmatic advertising certificates are advantageous.
