Job Title: QA Engineer
Role Summary:
Define, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for a custom Content Management System (CMS) and Live Operations Dashboard that manage live video streams and XR content. Validate new features, run regression suites, diagnose defects, and ensure cross-browser and API compatibility. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA peers to support agile release cycles and improve product quality in a real‑time environment.
Expactations:
- Minimum 5 years of QA engineering experience with web applications.
- Proven track record of delivering high‑quality releases in feature‑rich, real‑time products.
- Strong background in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and API/service testing (REST, gRPC).
- Experience with Flutter Web, web‑automation frameworks, and version control (Git, GitHub).
- Familiarity with real‑time data or video‑streaming workflows.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and Jira/Confluence or equivalent tooling.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and regression suites for the CMS and LiveOps tools.
- Perform hands‑on testing of real‑time workflows, including live data orchestration and monitoring dashboards.
- Develop, maintain, and run automated end‑to‑end and API tests to validate user journeys and browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with developers, delivery managers, and QA peers to identify issues and recommend improvements across the product ecosystem.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and release readiness activities to ensure quality gate completion.
- Maintain and update QA documentation, test artifacts, and reporting metrics on testing progress.
Required Skills:
- Manual testing, test design, regression testing, defect management.
- Automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and test harnesses.
- CI/CD pipeline integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Version control proficiency (Git, GitHub).
- API testing tools and knowledge of REST and gRPC.
- Flutter Web familiarity and related tooling.
- Real‑time data and video‑streaming testing experience.
- Agile/Scrum methodology, Jira, Confluence, or similar issue tracking.
- Strong written and verbal communication, team collaboration.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- ISTQB Certified Tester or comparable QA certification highly desirable.
