Junior Quant Market Risk Analyst
**Role Summary**
An entry‑level position within the Market Risk division responsible for quantitative analysis, model development, and risk monitoring across multiple asset classes (FX, metals, crypto, energy, equities). The role supports senior risk leaders, collaborates with trading and development teams, and contributes to the evolution of the firm’s market‑risk framework.

- Develop, back‑test, and refine pricing, hedging, and risk models.

- Support compliance, best‑execution reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct market and product research to inform risk decisions and product development.
- Communicate findings clearly to cross‑functional teams and external compliance functions.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design and implement quantitative strategies for market risk analysis.
2. Assist in preparing risk reports for Head of Market Risk, General Manager – Operations, Management, and external stakeholders.
3. Research, develop, back‑test, and deploy models for pricing, hedging, and risk management across FX, metals, crypto, energy, and equities.
4. Build, test, and maintain internal tools that automate trading operations and improve efficiency.
5. Monitor performance of live models and systems; proactively troubleshoot and optimize.
6. Support overall market‑risk monitoring to ensure adherence to limits and guidelines.
7. Collaborate on risk mitigation through financial instruments and strategy refinement.
8. Highlight potential risks or issues to risk leaders and compliance teams for resolution.
9. Monitor back‑end pricing systems and infrastructure to maintain smooth operations.
10. Analyze pricing and competitor offerings; recommend improvements or new opportunities.
11. Evaluate potential new products and conduct market research for decision support.
12. Oversee best‑execution reporting, trade reporting, and regulator requirements.
**Required Skills**
- Strong Python programming (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn).
