Job Description
**Job Title**: Site Manager - 6-Month Contract **Role Summary**: Oversee on-site operations and crew management to ensure project delivery, productivity, and compliance with health/safety standards. **Expectations**: Demonstrate leadership in scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor coordination while maintaining operational excellence and client KPIs. **Key Responsibilities**: - Lead and motivate operational teams to execute planning and project execution. - Ensure safe, timely delivery of works while maintaining regulatory compliance. - Manage site resources, equipment, and materials through accurate record-keeping. - Supervise subcontractor performance and resolve site-related issues. - Conduct site assessments and audits to confirm operational requirements and compliance. - Maintain HSEQ compliance, administer safety training, and perform regular equipment/vehicle checks. - Coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities to address project scope and concerns. - Monitor and validate timesheets, training records, and HR documentation. - Deliver weekly quality audits and operational assessments. - Facilitate Toolbox Talks and safety communications to reinforce safety protocols. **Required Skills**: - Proficient in project management and team leadership. - Strong operational expertise in utility services (clean water, wastewater, etc.). - Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and job-specific systems. - Advanced knowledge of health/safety regulations and risk assessment. - Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities. - Data interpretation and audit/reporting skills. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Relevant vocational qualifications in utility services operations. - Health and Safety certifications (e.g., CPCS, SMSTS). - Valid driver’s license and equipment operator licenses where applicable.
