Job Description
**Job title:** Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Manage, analyse, and optimise data assets to deliver actionable insights that support business decision‑making. **Expectations:** - Produce accurate, timely analyses and reports. - Maintain and improve data quality and integrity. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand and meet reporting needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from diverse sources. - Apply statistical and analytical techniques to uncover trends and patterns. - Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualisations for stakeholders. - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) in partnership with business units. - Identify data quality issues and recommend corrective actions. - Optimize data pipelines, storage solutions, and processing efficiency. - Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives. **Required Skills:** - Advanced SQL and data warehousing knowledge. - Proficiency in Python, R, or analogous analytics languages. - Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.). - Strong statistical analysis and modelling skills. - Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline architecture. - Ability to manipulate large, complex datasets. - Excellent communication of technical findings to non‑technical audiences. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent experience accepted). - Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Certified Analytics Professional, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, or similar.
