Job Description
**Job Title:** Sourcing Analyst I **Role Summary:** Oversee end‑to‑end procurement for assigned projects in the NA market, driving cost savings, compliance, and supplier performance while ensuring a smooth procure‑to‑pay cycle. **Expectations:** - Deliver competitive advantages through advanced sourcing practices. - Meet or exceed key metrics (on‑time delivery, savings, payment terms, cost of failure). - Maintain compliance with U.S. Government and defense purchasing regulations. - Support domestic and international initiatives with up to 10% travel. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct RFQs, negotiate pricing and contractual terms. - Issue and manage purchase orders, ensure ERP updates. - Track delivery status, resolve logistical and customs issues. - Process invoices, maintain cash‑flow accuracy. - Resolve contractual disputes, engage legal partners when needed. - Develop spend reports and identify cost‑reduction opportunities. - Build and maintain relationships with engineering, operations, finance, project management, quality, and suppliers. - Lead status meetings, reviews, and communication with regional and global sourcing teams. **Required Skills:** - Commercial sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation experience. - Proficiency in purchase order execution and ERP systems (SAP preferred). - Analytical and data‑analysis skills (Excel: formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables). - Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and report preparation. - Negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Supplier capability assessment and new supplier development. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field (minimum). - Minimum 2 years of commercial sourcing/procurement experience, or 1 year experience plus an MBA/Master’s in relevant field. ---
