Job Title: AI/Machine Learning Engineer
Role Summary: Design, build, deploy, and maintain end‑to‑end machine learning solutions for insider risk management, serving thousands of customers through a scalable, high‑performance pipeline.
Expectations: Deliver production‑ready models, lead cross‑functional ML initiatives, mentor junior staff, and communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, architect, and implement state‑of‑the‑art ML models optimized for accuracy, latency, and throughput.
- Acquire, clean, and engineer features from large‑scale, often imbalanced datasets.
- Train, evaluate, fine‑tune, and validate models, employing best practices in hyper‑parameter tuning and statistical inference.
- Productionize models, integrate with existing systems, and monitor performance, throughput, and latency.
- Influence software architecture to support high‑volume data analytics.
- Lead ML projects from concept to production, impacting enterprise customers.
- Mentor junior team members, establish best practices, and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and customer success to translate business problems into predictive solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Required Skills:
- Advanced programming in Python; proficiency in C++, Java, or Kotlin.
- Hands‑on experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, NLTK, spaCy, OpenCV, and Tesseract.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, stochastic optimization, probability theory, and statistical inference.
- Expertise in forecasting, time‑series analysis, hypothesis testing, anomaly detection, classification, and regression.
- Proven ability to manage datasets >2 million samples and handle class imbalance.
- Knowledge of scalable data pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field *or* Bachelor’s with ≥6 years of applicable industry experience.
- Demonstrated record of applying advanced ML techniques to real‑world challenges.
