Job Description

**Job Title:** Director of Data Services **Role Summary:** Lead strategic data and AI initiatives to drive innovation and business value. Oversees data governance, infrastructure, and AI capabilities while aligning projects with organizational goals. **Expectations:** - Deliver measurable impact through scalable data and AI solutions. - Foster a robust data culture and ethical AI practices. - Manage cross-functional teams and external partnerships. **Key Responsibilities:** - Strategize and implement data remediation/ enrichment programs across commercial, financial, and scientific domains. - Design scalable infrastructure for AI, analytics, and automation. - Prioritize high-impact data/AI use cases aligned with business objectives. - Develop and deploy AI/data engineering solutions. - Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. - Lead AI Governance board to monitor ethical AI practices and standards. - Build and oversee AI/ML teams, managing budgets, resources, and cross-functional collaboration. - Strengthen AI capabilities through skills development and vendor partnerships. **Required Skills:** - Advanced expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data modeling. - Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and data architecture. - Strong project management and cross-functional leadership. - Excellent communication to translate technical insights into business value. - Change management and organizational transformation experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. - 7+ years in data science/AI, 5+ years in leadership roles. - Proven success in large-scale data initiatives and governance implementation. - Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and responsible AI practices.
