**Job Title:** Control & Instrumentation Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Engineer responsible for the specification, integration, and oversight of the reactor’s control and instrumentation (I&C) systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
**Expectations:**
* Deliver precise technical specifications and maintain documentation.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to align I&C design with safety, process, and electrical requirements.
* Apply safety analysis and vendor assessment to meet nuclear and industry standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Draft and update technical specifications for I&C safety control, process automation, and instrumentation (nuclear and conventional).
2. Track and review design studies for function, architecture, interfaces, and regulatory constraints.
3. Coordinate with process, safety, high‑current, and architecture groups to resolve cross‑functional issues.
4. Conduct safety analyses (degrade modes, separation, redundancy, class criteria) for I&C systems.
5. Evaluate suppliers and technical solutions (hardware/software architecture, normative compliance, cybersecurity).
6. Participate in technical reviews, technology selection, and document traceability.
**Required Skills:**
* 5+ years in nuclear or critical industry environments (e.g., research reactors, fuel handling, pharma, fine chemistry).
* Deep knowledge of nuclear I&C classes (IEC 61513, RCC‑E, ISO 19443) and non‑class systems.
* Proficiency with functional specification and modeling tools (SDF, flowcharts, SysML, Word/Excel/Visio).
* Strong safety culture, rigorous documentation, quality orientation, and reporting skills.
* Professional working proficiency in English (technical documentation and international communication).
* Autonomous, inquisitive, collaborative, and adaptable to demanding technical contexts.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
* Master’s degree (Bac+5) in engineering or technical university specializing in control & instrumentation, automation, instrumentation, or equivalent.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., IEC, ISO) are advantageous.
