Job Description: Job title Data Protection Administrator Role Summary Oversee and manage personal data protection responsibilities, ensuring compliance with UK GDPR and PECR through accurate handling of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and related data requests. Expectations * Promptly respond to data protection enquiries from customers and staff. * Maintain meticulous logs and compliance records. * Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve data requests. Key Responsibilities * Operate the DSAR mailbox and triage all incoming requests. * Log each DSAR, track processing status, and meet statutory deadlines. * Draft clear, complete responses, applying necessary redactions. * Process GDPR amendments, erasures, and other data manipulation requests. * Address basic data protection queries and provide guidance. * Maintain accurate records of all data protection activities. Required Skills * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Strong teamwork and inter‑personal skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams. * Ability to organise, prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Required Education & Certifications * No specific degree required; relevant qualifications preferred. * Knowledge of UK GDPR/PECR is desirable. * Certifications such as CIPP/E, ISO 27001, or GDPR compliance training are advantageous.
