**Job Title:** Solutions Architect **Role Summary:** Lead the end‑to‑end redesign of an identity mastering platform for a major higher‑education institution, transitioning from Microsoft Identity Manager to a cloud‑native, real‑time API‑driven solution. **Expectations:** Deliver a future‑ready architecture within a 6‑month contract, champion procurement, ensure compliance and security standards, facilitate design workshops, produce formal documentation, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and document a modern identity mastering solution using Microsoft EntraID, Azure AD B2C, Active Directory, and MIM. - Conduct solution workshops, produce architecture diagrams, and validate options with the Enterprise Architect and Identity & Access Platform Team. - Oversee procurement activities, including RFP creation, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation. - Draft and maintain enterprise architecture artifacts, security policies, and compliance reports. - Present design concepts to senior leadership, translating technical details for non‑technical audiences. - Ensure role‑based access control, compliance, and security align with institutional standards. **Required Skills:** - Deep expertise in identity mastering, authentication, and access management. - Proficient with Microsoft EntraID, Azure AD B2C, Active Directory, and Microsoft Identity Manager. - Strong knowledge of RBAC, compliance frameworks, and security best practices. - Proven experience leading design workshops, preparing formal documentation, and presenting to senior stakeholders. - Background in procurement processes and enterprise architecture documentation. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent). - Certified Identity and Access Management (CIAM) certification preferred.
