About the Company

SPHEREA, a 50-year history

SPHEREA's history began in the electronic department of Aerospatiale Aircraft division (notably produced the first automatic test bench for Concorde), Aerospatiale Missiles and Sextant Avionics companies.

These three companies were merged into a single entity to support the RAFALE Aircraft and LECLERC Tank programs, becoming EADS Test & Services when EADS was created in 2000. EADS Test & Services was attached to the EADS Defence & Security Division and became Cassidian Test & Services in 2010 when EADS Defence & Security became Cassidian.

When the Airbus Group was created on January 1st 2014, the restructuring of the EADS Defence and Airbus Space activities, grouped into a single entity, Airbus Defence & Space, was the opportunity for Test & Services to make a fresh start.

Test & Services opened up its capital to investors sharing this vision, which is resolutely aimed at winning new markets with a focus on innovation, and became SPHEREA in July 2014.

SPHEREA's aim is to only remain the leader in its existing sectors but accelerate growth and capture business in new sectors.

Job Description
**Job Title:** Integrated Logistics Support Engineer (Full‑Time) **Role Summary:** Ensure optimal availability, cost, and maintainability of sold systems by monitoring obsolescence, analyzing client requirements, and optimizing maintenance plans. Provide logistics support, reliability analysis, and data‑driven recommendations throughout the defined lifecycle. **Expectations:** - Deliver timely logistics support documentation and analytics. - Meet target availability and total cost of ownership (TCO) goals. - Maintain high data integrity and support decision‑making for obsolescence and stock management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the production of logistics support deliverables. - Analyze system bills of materials (BOM) and maintain logistics databases. - Gather, validate, and process data; perform reliability and criticality calculations; recommend stocking strategies. - Participate in obsolescence management committees. - Assess maintenance needs, conduct maintenance studies, and develop maintenance plans. - Measure and improve support system performance. - Draft procedures, methods, and documentation for the role. - Contribute to the selection and definition of supporting tools (CMMS, ERP, etc.). **Required Skills:** - Engineering degree (preferably in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering). - Experience in reliability engineering or equivalent field. - Proven implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). - Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles and best practices. - Proficient in data analysis, visualization, and database usage. - Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, modeling). - Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative team player. - Ability to produce clear technical documentation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering. - Certifications such as Reliability Engineer (RTCA/DoD, AS9100, or similar) preferred.
