Job Description

Job title: ServiceNow Test Analyst Role Summary: Provide comprehensive QA for ServiceNow implementations, executing manual and automated tests, managing defects, and ensuring alignment with ITIL best practices. Expactations: Deliver structured test plans, detailed scripts, and traceable defects; mitigate risks, influence quality improvements, and support continuous delivery workflows. Key Responsibilities: • Review functional and technical specifications, user stories, and design test plans and scripts for both manual and ATF automated testing. • Develop and run ServiceNow ATF test cases and regression suites. • Log, track, and collaborate on defect resolution using Jira, Zephyr, or DevOps. • Identify and communicate test risks and issues, providing corrective action recommendations. • Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and project leads to ensure test coverage and quality targets are met. • Maintain test documentation, metrics, and reports; support post‑deployment verification. Required Skills: • Proficient in manual and automated testing, with hands‑on experience in ServiceNow ATF. • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM) and application lifecycle. • Skilled in defect and test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, DevOps). • Understanding of ITIL processes and ability to apply best‑practice testing methodologies. • Analytical mindset for interpreting specifications and identifying test conditions. • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. • ISTQB Test Certification preferred. • ServiceNow Certified (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or System Administrator) considered an advantage.
