**Job title:** Head of People **Role Summary:** Lead the People function in a high‑growth technology startup, shaping and executing the People & Culture strategy, overseeing all HR operations, and partnering with senior leadership to support rapid scaling while maintaining organizational health. **Expectations:** - Deliver a balanced people strategy that aligns performance, engagement, and operational efficiency. - Scale HR processes and systems to support expanding workforce and evolving business model. - Act as a trusted advisor to managers and executives on people, culture, and organisational change. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define, communicate, and implement the organisation-wide People & Culture strategy. - Lead and manage HR functions: recruitment, talent development, performance management, and compensation. - Design and roll out scalable HR processes and policies suitable for a fast‑growing startup. - Coach leaders on human‑resource and organisational matters, fostering a collaborative work culture. - Drive organisational design and work‑mode evolution to support new business directions. - Ensure legal and social compliance of all HR practices; oversee relationships with external HR partners and vendors. **Required Skills:** - 8+ years in HR or People roles, including senior leadership of HR teams. - Proven experience in a startup or high‑growth environment with scaling responsibilities. - Strong strategic vision combined with hands‑on execution ability. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills. - Proficiency with HRIS tools (PayFit, Odoo) and productivity suites (Google Workspace). - Fluency in English; French language proficiency is advantageous. - Knowledge of relevant collective agreements such as the SYNTEC convention. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - HR certifications (e.g., SHRM‑CP, HRCI, or equivalent) preferred.
