Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Business Analyst – Compliance **Role Summary** Provide analytical support to the UK branch compliance function, ensuring data integrity, accurate management information (MI) reporting, and governance oversight in line with UK regulatory requirements. Coordinate across Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations to strengthen controls and regulatory adherence. **Expectations** - Deliver timely, accurate MI reports supporting regulatory and internal audit requirements. - Maintain data governance and integrity across compliance systems. - Facilitate compliance with AML/CTF, KYC, B&C, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring protocols. - Act as a liaison between business units and compliance, translating regulatory requirements into actionable business processes. - Undertake ad‑hoc analytical and reporting tasks as directed by the Head of Compliance & MLRO. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead data integrity reviews and implement data quality controls. - Design, develop, and maintain MI dashboards and reporting artefacts. - Interpret FCA regulations, AML, and financial crime legislation to inform business decisions. - Support the implementation of AML/CTF and KYC controls, including sanctions and transaction monitoring. - Coordinate stakeholder meetings and communicate findings to senior stakeholders. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for compliance processes. - Execute any ad‑hoc compliance or data tasks assigned by senior compliance leadership. **Required Skills** - 5–8 years of business analysis experience in banking regulatory compliance. - Deep understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (FCA, AML, financial crime statutes). - Proficiency in data management, MI reporting, and governance practices. - Advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL, BI platforms, and data‑visualisation tools. - Practical experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) in compliance contexts. - Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business, or Risk Management. - ICA qualification in Risk, Governance & Compliance (desirable). - Relevant banking compliance credentials preferred.
