Job Description
Job title: Full Stack Intern Role Summary: 16‑week Co‑Op internship focused on full‑stack development for an e‑commerce platform, building responsive front‑end interfaces and scalable back‑end services while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Expectations: Final‑year undergraduate or recent graduate in IT, Computer Science or related field; remote with up to 3 on‑site visits per year; Monday–Friday 8:00‑17:00 ET; deliver functional, maintainable code in a typical SDLC. Key Responsibilities: - Gather and refine requirements with stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications. - Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high‑performance, scalable web applications. - Create responsive UI components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and a modern front‑end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js). - Implement server‑side logic with Java and Spring Boot, expose RESTful APIs, and interact with relational databases (SQL). - Refactor and improve existing codebases, applying best practices for code quality and performance. - Collaborate with UX designers to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to UI/UX standards. - Engage with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. - Stay current on emerging full‑stack technologies, trends, and industry best practices. Required Skills: - Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and responsive design principles. - Experience with a modern front‑end framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js). - Java developer experience, especially with Spring Boot. - Knowledge of SQL and relational database design. - Understanding of RESTful API design and integration. - Familiarity with SDLC, Git, and CI/CD workflows. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate from, an undergraduate or graduate program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
