Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Role Summary: Supports the enterprise Disaster Recovery and Minimum Viable Company (MVC) Program, ensuring operational resiliency, audit findings closure, and continuity of critical operations during technology or cyber incidents. Works with DR/MVC project teams, business units, application owners, and governance partners to define requirements, document processes, and align business continuity with technology capabilities.
Expactations: Deliver comprehensive business and functional requirements for DR and MVC initiatives. Validate MVC scenarios, decision criteria, and recovery priorities, especially for cyber and technology outage events. Maintain traceability of requirements and documentation across program phases. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, produce steering‑committee materials, and provide data‑driven recommendations to guide decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements supporting DR/MVC capabilities.
- Define and validate MVC scenarios, decision criteria, and recovery priorities.
- Review current‑state processes, BCPs, BIAs, and application recovery documentation to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain business requirements, process flows, use cases, and recovery sequencing inputs.
- Produce governance, sustainment, and operating‑model artifacts.
- Standardize DR/MVC documentation and ensure traceability across program phases.
- Liaise between business units, application teams, DR/MVC project teams, and governance stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support Definition, Design, Build, Test, and Sustain phases of the DR & MVC Program, including validation of deliverables such as recovery plans, test scenarios, and readiness artifacts.
- Contribute to change management, communications, and training inputs.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of business analysis experience on complex, enterprise‑scale programs.
- Strong requirements management, process analysis, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
- Excellent documentation and analytical abilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements.
- Stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities.
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and evolving program scope.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, ITIL, or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity planning, or operational resiliency; familiarity with BIAs, recovery tiering, application dependencies, and recovery sequencing.
